Useful to have when you call
Nothing is required, but a rough size in feet, whether there is existing concrete to remove, how old it is, where the water goes when it rains, and a photo or two of the area and the ground beside it all help the estimator come prepared. If a builder, an HOA or an engineer has given you a drawing or a letter, have it handy.
What happens after you call
An estimator sets a time to walk the site with you, measures, probes the existing base, checks the slope and drainage, and talks through the finish and the schedule. You get an itemized written price with no charge for the visit and no obligation. If you accept, the job is scheduled for the next weather window that suits the pour, and we call in utility locates before any digging.
Trip hazard, leaning wall, or a slab that dropped suddenly? Say so when you call and the callback goes to the front of the line. Keep people off a badly tilted step or walk, and keep cars off a slab with a fresh void under it, until someone has looked at it.
